Chateau Riverside

Großes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Appartement, zwei geräumige Schlaf- und Badezimmer, perfekt gegen den „Hüttenkoller“ eines gemeinsamen Roadtrips. Supermarkt in der Nähe, Hafen 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt (sehr zu empfehlen: Homalco Tours Great Bears of Bute). Sehr nett: unser Host Sunny, der extra auf uns gewartet hat, nachdem wir die geplante Fähre nicht geschafft hatten… Was noch? Tolle Lage am Fluss, von unserem Balkon aus konnten wir Anglern beim Fliegenfischen zusehen. Außerdem ein Blick auf eine großartige Tierwelt „gratis“: wir sahen an zwei Tagen Seehunde, Otter, Seeadler und sogar einen Schwarzbär, der sich für die springenden Lachse interessierte!

Bygningen ligger i udkanten af byen i et kedeligt kvarter. Udsigten til floden var begrænset af en skillevæg på altanen. Skillevæggen tog både udsigt og aftensol. Til den anden side var der et stort træ, der også tog udsigt, samt naboens grimme rod og affald på toppen af bygningen. Inde i lejligheden er der mange gulvtæpper og luftrensere, der gav mig voldsom allergi

This was a comfortable hotel with the river running right outside the back sliding glass doors. It was really a beautiful idyllic view of the river. The rooms were particularly spacious and the kitchen was quite roomy and had everything you might need. The location is quite urban so it is easy to shop for food for other necessities you ight need to pick up along the way. On a road trip, being able to use the washer and dryer comfortably located in the apartment is a wonderful bonus.

We had a little trouble locating this place and it isn't a very inviting entry. Though once in the space, my perspective changed.

Sauna was sweet

Beds were terrible, neighborhood was a little rough but there was a security fence

Our apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to self cater for two nights and the view out to the river was lovely to wake up to. The photos do not do this place justice! We would definitely stay again.
