Midigama Holiday Inn

In our opinion, the best accommodation in Midigama, where the hosts want to make you feel as comfortable as possible! The room was modern, clean and quiet. There was also a small fridge in the room and wifi worked very well, you could watch videos and series easily. We ordered a delicious breakfast in the morning and the laundry service worked also really well. It was possible to wash off the sand after surf in the garden shower before going to the room and wet clothes could be left on the clothesline to dry. There was a separate storage place for surfboards, which was locked for the night. Whatever you need the host are always ready to help you with a big smile. :) We really recommend staying in Midigama Holiday Inn!

Our stay in Holiday Inn Midigama was very lovely and I cannot recommend this enough. The accommodation is in a peaceful location, yet just a couple minutes walking distance from the surf breaks and restaurants. Surf boards have their own rack which is locked for nights for extra safety. Breakfasts were great and tasty, too. Rooms were clean, good size, AC was working perfectly and the mini fridge suited our purposes very well. I had to work remotely and the Wifi in the room and the common areas worked well for that purpose. As a cherry on the cake, the staff are the friendliest and the nicest people we have met in Sri Lanka! They helped us with everything we needed during our stay, they gave lots of information and taught us some basic phrases in Sinhala, and they were available the whole day! The hosts arranged a scooter to us already before arriving, stored our luggage while we visited another town for a few days, and washed our laundry. They also arrange tours, we did not try them because we focused on surfing. It is safe to say that the hosts are super helpful! Thanks a lot and there's no question where we will stay during our next trip to Midigama! :)

It's clean, has AC hot water. It is quite and close location to the surfing spot. The stuff is very friendly and helpful.

Food

This is the BEST place I stayed in Sri Lanka!! I booked 4 nights and kept extending my stay. I ended up staying 10 days.  The rooms are beautiful, location is fantastic, super quiet at night but with a lot of fun things to ro around! Hansi, the woman that runs the place made the whole experience for me. She was super available all the time for whatever you needed. I really felt like home there!!  I am definitely coming back and staying longer. 100% recommended!!!

This small inn was just what we were on the lookout for in Midigama. Situated a bit a way from the big Main Street but close to all the surfing spots and restaurants, this place is perfect. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is amazing. The owners are extremely kind and made us feel so welcome. They also arranged taxi for the airport and was in general just very helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

Everything is just perfect!!! There is no other stay which can offer that standard for the price you pay for. I‘m coming back every year!!! Hansi also helps me with everything I need, couldn‘t wish for more when in holidays! Thank you so much and hopefully see you soon!!!

It was my second stay here. I love this place and the family that runs it is soooo nice. They are extremely helpful with organizing trip and anything you need. The place is cery pretty and clean and close to the beach. Breakfast was delicious- my favourite was the french toast ☺️ I definitely want to come back because I love it here ☺️
