Camellia Cottage

Super schattig huis. Leuk ingericht, ruim en rustig gelegen maar toch binnen 10 minuten lopen van de supermarkt. Mooie tuin.

1 toilet voor een 6 persoons huis was een beetje weinig. Vaatwasser zat nog vol toen we aankwamen. Ik miste een droogrek, en verduisterende gordijnen. Airco alleen in de woonkamer was niet voldoende voor het hele huis. Er waren wel ventilatoren voor alle slaapkamers. In het boek staat dat er een complementary fles wijn zou staan. Die kon ik jammer genoeg niet vinden. Kussens voor in de stoelen buiten zouden het nog beter maken.

The bathroom being a wet room. Too much maintenance and dangerous for older people navigating the wet floors.

Lovely house.

The house is excellent, furniture is perfect for the period of the house and comfortable. Located close to town so easy to walk to or short drive.

Could have provided information how to connect to wifi. Had to find details from modem. The beds are comfortable but tend to fall at the edges.

Beautiful historic home with lovely gardens and verandah, wooden floors, very pretty and clean, close to shops and wineries

Shower flooded bathroom quickly, shower screen beside toilet easy to walk into, only one toilet, windows hard to open, a coffee pod machine and supply of some milk would be nice additions

Such a beautiful house, beds more so comfortable and facilities excellent

Nothing not to like

Great location. 4 adults were very comfortable across the three bedrooms. Lovely house and fixtures. Plenty of space inside and outside to sit and relax or have a meal.

Our only concern was the functionality of the shower. No rack for soap or shampoo and to be asked to use a low flow of water as the water ran out into the bathroom and the need to wipe the water back towards the drainage point while showering was not ideal.

The character of the house was elegant, comfortable and relaxing.

No WiFi and not enough toilet paper.

Loved the cottage itself and all the furniture. It was also an easy walk down to the main street. The vineyards were also just a short drive away.

Would have liked a decent coffee machine. Because there is only 1 bathroom it would have been nice to have mirrors in the bedrooms, even basic ones behind the wardrobe or bedroom doors. We also found the shower difficult to manage with extreme care needed in order to prevent water spreading all over the bathroom floor.
