"Beautiful hotel with beautiful views"

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times, and it's a great place for relaxing between flights. Our rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable with beautiful sea views. Staff were kind and very helpful, as well as very competent at using translation apps. Breakfast was good. We caught official taxis to and from the airport (about 15 minutes drive) and it cost no more than RMB 20 (about AUD 4) on each occasion. Make sure to have the hotel name and address written in Mandarin, and cash in small notes to cover cost. Our flight left very late, so we booked the Xiamen Layover Day Tour to Gulangyu island through Viator. It was a good way to fill in time.

The hotel is not located in the city centre so will not suit everyone, but we had very relaxing stays and spent a lot of time looking out the window at that wonderful view.
