Immaculate cottage in a great secluded location

The property is lovely and we will certainly want to return. What I didn’t like about the Stay in Suffolk management team is that they want to charge £15 for a fan in a property. Surely it should be a given that you want your guests to be comfortable. Most UK accommodation doesn’t have air con so just put a fan in a cupboard for guests to use. This is my second trip and we were fine. I took my own on my first trip to the cottage but it is bulky.

Beautifully kept, clean and every convenience is there. Very accessible, a lovely quiet and peaceful location.

The gate was a bit tricky!

Beautiful cottage in a very peaceful setting.Wonderful views and a lovely patio area to have breakfast or enjoy an evening drink. Well appointed with everything of top quality. Bed extremely comfortable. Sally the host was so welcoming and we were very appreciative of the wine and flapjacks she had left for us. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property in a fab location. Incredibly well kitted out and very clean. A lovely welcome bottle of wine and biscuits. Little touches like that make all the difference.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Immaculate cottage. Beautifully furnished. Very well equipped. Everything has been thought about. Outside terrace awash with gorgeous flowers and shrubs.

The Ten things to do before checking out….a bit much considering the price.

Thoroughly spotless property, spic and span, quiet and top quality. This is real first class, unlike many places that are economy pretending to be first class. Everything in this lovely getaway is high end and it’s obvious that a lot of thought and effort went into making this place a very special high-end retreat. It was great to have a wash cloth provided. This almost never happens in the UK hospitality industry, so we appreciated it. We bring our own, but don’t necessarily want wet wash cloths to tote around in cases. The hosts provided guides for everything you could possibly need. In the evenings we watched TV and unlike most places, everything related to A/V worked!

Like most, if not all B&Bs in UK, there’s no AC/ Aircon. So I wouldn’t necessarily recommend a stay here at the height of the British summer. The locals are used to the weather, I am sure, but overseas visitors from warm countries will not be comfortable in summer with blazing sun, no breeze and high humidity levels. We’ve experienced this several times in the past. A clothes dryer exists outside, but there is no washer. That would have been handy. We were also required to deposit any glass bottles in the bottle bank, in town. Whilst we are aware of our environmental footprint, we didn’t think that was something we should do as paying customers. Of course we recycled everything accordingly, in the bins provided just as we would at home.

The property was spacious clan and very comfortable set in an idyllic location There were several areas where we could sit outside and enjoy the amazing hill and meadow , that was part of the outside space.

We have no negative comments about the property.
