São Domingos Flowers Apartments

The apartment is large with floor to ceiling windows you can open. We loved hearing the buzz of life in Porto. The location is great for access to attractions, the river, and nightlife.

One bedroom, a sofabed in the livingroom/kitchen, a small well build bathroom. All pretty new and good. This 2nd floor apartment is facing a patio and not the road, so there is no outside noise.

You clearly hear all sounds from the staircase and the neighboring apartments, but that is ok

The room was very clean and cosy, with a great location from the metro station. Carlos and his family are amazing. Great people, friendly and very helpful. They will give a lot of tips about the city, restaurants and places to see, plus they have a small shop as well from where you can buy souvenirs.

Liliana and Carlos were exceptionally kind and knowledgeable about their town. The suggestion to take the 500 bus was great.

No downside about the property at all but Porto is very hilly and is not suitable for people of reduced mobility. There is no lift. Carlos carried our luggage up the stairs.

Great location No breakfast cafe a few minutes walk

Great location would probably have been lovely in the summer unfortunately we arrived late evening and it was very cold! We could not get the air con heat to go up and slept in our clothes! The next day our Host couldnt get it to heat up so a man came and got it working the controller didnt seem to work. Sorry for a bad review but it was cold and miserable! There was no kettle we had to ask for one and most of the lightbulbs in the lovely chandelier were blown! As I say it was a lovely old apartments with very high ceilings but not suitable for winter stays, there was no heat in the bedroom and a draft under the front door

What a wonderful place to stay! Liliana and Carlos were so welcoming and gave us so much information about where to go and what to do in Porto. The apartment building is beautiful and perfectly placed about 5 minutes walk from the river. The apartment itself is very well equipped and a lovely comfortable bed. Fantastic bakery just a couple of doors up the street serving great coffee and pastries.

No breakfast provided but next door to a great bakery. Apartment is spacious and well presented. In a great location. Owners business next door so very available for assistance. They are very friendly, speak good English and give lots of help with where to go and how to get around Porto. Liliana and Carlos meet us on arrival and keyless entry so easy to manage.

Maybe 2 flights of stairs but Liliana helped with luggage.

The unit was extremely well located just around the corner from the main action strip in Porto. Whatever you do within the city you are able to walk. The unit was well furnished, clean and had an outdoor area attached. The hosts were most helpful and gave us confidence to negotiate their wonderful city.

From street level you use the stairs to reach the unit. We are both in our 60’s and this was no concern for us.
