Certainly above normal mid priced hotels, need to use valet service, and there were light bulbs out on some fixtures. Furniture worn , didn’t match overall ambiance of hotel.

Overall, I thought the hotel was very nice. It was affordable and the size of the suite was really nice for the price. I stayed here with my mother, and we had gotten two rooms. One was a standard City View room and the other was a one-bedroom suite. The View From the City View room was great, the view from The Suite was okay. The room was clean and housekeeping came through and kept it clean. The staff were friendly and attempted to help with whatever need we had. The bathroom setup was nice. There were only two areas that I thought could be improved upon. The first was the lighting in the room. The room is nearly entirely lit by floor lamps. In my sweet there was only one built-in light other than the bathroom. It was very dim and did not provide much in the way of light. The other lights were floor lamps that had very bright white lights in them and made it look a bit sterile. There were reading lights attached to the bed that provided some light. The light switch also didn't really seem to do much. On the last day I did figure out that it turned on an outlet for the floor lamp in the bedroom. There was a light above the door however it was not functioning at the time of my stay. I think it could be improved upon by having some warm light bulbs put in the floor lamps, and I'd prefer an overhead light or a built-in light to provide more lighting. The issue is walking into the room when it's dark and not knowing how to turn the lights on, if you don't leave a light on when you leave. With all that said, I would not at all hesitate to stay here again coming back to boston. The price was right and the location was great, especially if you are planning to take the T. The walk to the red line was only 2 to 3 minutes. We were able to get an Uber to South Station for our trip home and it's only a 5-minute drive or uber/cab ride. There are nearby restaurants and a coffee shop and the Circle K right down the street that was great to have to buy drinks and snacks for the room

I had a very good experience at this hotel. The rooms were super clean, spacious, and beautiful, exactly what you need to feel comfortable. Everything was well maintained and organized. The front desk service was excellent—very friendly and attentive from the moment I arrived. Overall, I felt very comfortable during my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Great location, clean hotel- but they charged $10 for a bottle of water from their marketplace during the snow storm. I think that’s insane!
