Zimmer war groß und sauber.Frühstück war ok.

Unterkunft liegt sehr einsam,selbst der Strand ist zu Fuss einiges entfernt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ,auch im Pub,finde ich für dafür sehr überzogen.

Fabulous place and the staff couldn’t do enough. Food was lovely and a great collection of beers and whisky. You can walk to the beaches from the pub but the road is busy with holiday makers.

The beds were hard and uncomfortable, pillows were lumpy and the fixtures in the bathroom were rusty.

The location was good and the staff were friendly.

Rooms are not cleaned, and beds are not made during the stay of guests as stated on a house rules card in the room, even though the website says otherwise. This is not in accordance with expectations for a 4-star hotel. The safe was out of order, and this was apparently the case in many of the rooms, according to staff.

Sam in reception was excellent when the parking spaces filled on our return from woems head.

Plenty of parking. Great facilities eg the pub sells food throughout the day. All menus very good. The pub was spacious, which is where the meals are served including breakfast.

Perhaps a warning prior to arrival of where to check in, and the fact that building works were ongoing.

From the moment we booked our stay at the Kings Head Inn, our experience was top-tier. Sam and the team at The Kings Head Inn reached out to confirm our booking and gave us a little rundown of the pub, the inn, and the local area. I had a surprise engagement planned for my partner and explained this through the app chat. Sam helped me plan and offered to help with anything I needed. Our room for the price was fantastic, a huge double room with a bath big enough for two and a powerful shower. The room had been covered in rose petals, with a bottle of wine and chocolates on our table as a surprise! The room was clean and facilities were all there if you needed a coffee, WiFi, a bit of TV, or the phone to make a call. Then onto the pub itself… The front of the Kings Head has a huge patio area, overlooking a C500-1500 church and rolling hills down to the sea. With plenty of tables and chairs, it doesn’t take long to get a seat to enjoy the views and take in the sunshine as the afternoon turns to evening. (We were very lucky with the weather, but I can imagine even in the winter, it would be a lovely spot after a nice walk to enjoy a tea or coffee.) We had dinner booked for 7.15, and whilst the food wait was 40 minutes, we were informed, which I think is a really important touch. The food was amazing. I had the steak, which was HUGE and cooked perfectly. My partner had locally caught sole with some local grilled asparagus on the side. My final praise has to be all the staff. I’ve worked in hospitality for 15 years and can’t thank the team at the Kings Head enough for what was a BUSY day. From the inn staff, checking us in and finding the time to take us to our room and ensure we had everything we needed, to the bar staff showing me the INCREDIBLE whiskey selection at the end of the night, it was all smiles, happy customers, and I can imagine the pub owners very proud! Car park, but to be fair it is undergoing renovation
