Hôtel Corsica

This was the best hotel stay of a three centre holiday in Corsica. It is superbly located and has everything you need including a nice swimming pool. The staff are lovely and welcoming and the stay was really good value. This was the simplest hotel of our stay but outshone the more expensive ones. Restaurants and the little port and beach of Porto are a stones throw. The coast and hinterland is magnificent. Just go!

Right next to beach public parking. Easy walk to downtown restaurants. Nice rooms comfortable. Parking in front or back. Very clean. Good a/c. Quiet. Breakfast price a little steep for what they offer. Enjoy....

We spent 5 nights at Hotel Corsica and was very good. The rooms are simple, but clean, with enough space for two. Short walking distance to the beach and restaurants. private parking space. Reasonably priced place to stay.

This hotel is clearly a recommendation in Porto. It's one of the cheaper ones and officially only has two stars. But the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The service of the staff is wonderful and the pool and terrace a great place for a relaxing afternoon before you go back to the marina for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay here a lot. The hotel is not directly at the beach but you can easily walk the about 500m to the harbour. The advantage is that the hotel is much less noisy and you have a great view into the forrest and mountains from your rooms.

Located a nice, short walk from the main town of Porto. Our room had a nice view of the trees and a stream. A nice, quiet place, clean and basic. Very nice staff willing to help with recommendations. Good breakfast and free wifi.

Everything was just perfect from the first to the last moment in a location from where you can start for many interesting destinations. Clean, large rooms, newly renovated bathroom, spacey balcony with view onto the pool. It's even possible to use kitchen facilities in the larger rooms as of 3 days of stay. Wifi available in reception, bar/breakfast and pool area. Viviane and Véronique are extremely nice, helpful, and do take the extra step to give you advice on places to visit or to eat out. We enjoyed especially their suggestion of the restaurant Tahiti on the beach (free aperitif offered when staying at Hotel Corsica) - not only because of the beautiful view on the sunset but also the excellent food.

I gave this hotel a 5 star rating because of the value/comfort rating. The pool view room and bathroom were large, comfortable, modern, clean and quiet. In short, a very nice room, a deluxe room It is located on the main road to the port and a short walk from the port, a short walk from it. The room cost was very reasonable. The staff lady I dealt with was pleasant and spoke good English. Since we didn't take an excursion boat cruise, there was not much for us in Porto.

Judged against many 4 star hotels, yes this medium sized hotel is somewhat lacking. However, although fairly basic, the rooms are a of a good size, the bathrooms have decent showers and the balconies are good too. The breakfasts are O.K., perhaps a little basic and there is a reasonable sized swimming pool. The hotel is located just outside the main centre of Porto but in easy walking distance of the restaurants and bars. Hotel parking can be a little tight but more spaces are available on the side of the street just outside the hotel. Niggles were that we found the bed too hard and that the seal around the plug in the wash basin wasn't very good, such that that the basin quickly emptied when trying to wash.

The rooms are basic, but get one facing the port and you will see superb views of the eucalyptus groves and tower. We did not eat breakfast, but could easily get a morning coffee to bring to our room.

The hotel is located 5 minutes walk from the seaside of Porto. There is a very nice swimming pool. Helpful personnel at the reception. You can book your cruise to Scandola here. The room was large and clean but needed some renovation. With A/C. Private parking. Very good value for money.
