Hotel Indigo - Madison Downtown by IHG

Always a great place to stay when going to a music event in Madison

I THINK THAT THE ROOM WAS LOVELY AND WELL APPOINTED AND LOCATED.

I WAS EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED WITH THE RECEPTION MY FAMILY MEMBERS RECEIVED AT CHECK IN. THEY PROVIDED LITTLE TO NO ASSISTANCE TO HELP WITH LUGGAGE TO BE STORED UNTIL CHECK IN, STROLLER, THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK DID NOT APPRECIATE THE NEEDS OF MY ELDERLY IN-LAWS, DAUGHTER WITH TWO VERY SMALL CHILDREN, OR THE REQUEST I HAD FOR STORAGE OF SOME ITEMS THAT I WOULD BE NEEDING AT THE WEDDING. THE PRICE WAS VERY HIGH FOR MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND I EXPECTED MORE FROM YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. I FELT LIKE WE WERE NOT TREATED AS WELL AS WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF GUESTS FROM OUR FAMILY PAYING FOR YOUR HOTEL.

Attended a concert directly across the street , and fell in love with the property. Everything from the desk staff to room service was exemplary.

This is a beautiful and super fun hotel! The design incoporates it's past as a Mautz Paint factory. I didn't know this when we booked the hotel. We booked it because it was close to the Sylvee for our concert. The hotel was clean, fun decor and beautiful! We unfortunately did not go to the bar or restaurant but we will be back for sure. Also the hotel is within a very short distance to the Sylvee and visual distance of the Capital.

This was a one night stay to see a favorite artist of ours playing just down the street. The hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. Hotel had a clean industrial decor. We sat on the patio for a night cap and ate breakfast in the dining room in the morning. The breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. The hotel was very close to the Capital. Parking ramp was right next to hotel but not connected, it had reserved parking for hotel guests.

We LOVED the Indigo. First and foremost the staff were great. Knowledgeable about the restaurants, events, anything we wanted to know. The General Manager, Zack was very helpful. It is built on the site of an old paint factory and they kept the charm. The decor was also based on this. The location was perfect in downtown Madison, walking distance to the lakes, restaurants, University of WI. An added bonus was the free shuttle within a 3 mile radius.

Hotel is in a great area within walking distance to great restaurants, grocery, the Capitol and event location. Hotel is beautifully decorated, modern and chic with a nod to the paint factory original building. Front desk staff was efficient and friendly. Bar staff was great especially the bar manager. Drinks are creative and fairly priced. Breakfast was good and fairly priced, service was great . We will be back- wonderful stay! Highly recommend!!!
