They lost the laptop I deposited at the counter since they have no lockers. When I asked for them to review the cctv, after a few hours they said the cctv is not working. This is not a safe place for you or your belongings. The price is inviting but don't let it fool you. The cost would be bigger than what you paid for. Better look somewhere else safer and more decent.

Overall a nice hostel. I was not supposed to stay here but due to the tropical storm hitting the area I got stuck in Dumaguete for a few days which turned out to be a nice experience as it is a very cool and relaxed city. Very friendly staff, nice and clean bathrooms and dorms and lots of places to hang around. Also within walking distance to a few decent restaurants. Close to both the airport and the ferry port.

The hostel is located quite far away from the town center which is worth keeping in mind if you're the type of person who enjoys walkability. The social atmopshere around the hostel was also a bit meh - don't expect a backpacker style hostel.

The jungle vibe of the place is amazing. And also palmita bar and cuisine is great. The staff from the bar were amazing,had a great chat about dumaguette siliman university(the first American university). Highly recommend if you don't mind walking 10-15 minutes to rizal bulevard
