La Casona de Betanzos – Review While we appreciated the owner’s willingness to provide transport to and from town, the overall experience fell far short of expectations, especially given the price point of €150 for two nights. The apartment, though clean, felt neglected. We were left without basic essentials like toiletries, tea, coffee, or milk—a significant oversight with no shops nearby. The self-catering kitchen lacked a kettle and had broken pan handles, while only one pot was provided. The bedroom was uncomfortable, with a thin foam mattress, dated linen, and bedside drawers that couldn’t be opened. The terrace overlooked a busy, uninviting road, and the initial brown tap water was concerning. With just one toilet roll for two people over two days, the provisions were inadequate. The absence of air conditioning made the space uncomfortable in the heat, and the overall design, along with numerous penalty notices, created a rather oppressive atmosphere. The owner’s initial manner felt unwelcoming, though this improved slightly on the second day. For this standard of accommodation, the cost feels disproportionate, which likely explains why few Camino pilgrims choose to stay. With investment in basic comforts, clearer hospitality, and fairer pricing, this property could offer a far more positive stay.

Pretty cool with the old bus as the reception desk, overall great mix of upcycling old stuff and modern conveniences!

La disponibilità della signora che ti viene a prendere in piazza e la mattina ti riaccompagna. La camera era un po’ alternativa (stile American), ma dotata di tutto ciò che serve. Ci è anche stata offerta una birra di benvenuto.

Rimane qualche km fuori dal centro città e non è collegata con nessun autobus, per cui si è costretti a restare nella struttura.
