Aloft by Marriott Buffalo Downtown

Great location, convenient to highways and attractions in the greater Buffalo area. Easy drive to Highmark Stadium or Niagara Falls. Plenty of places nearby to eat. Hotel was clean, room was spacious and clean. I won’t say it’s super modern and filled with tons of amenities, but I will say it was good value for the cost and had what was needed for a comfortable stay. The in-house food may fill a quick need, but it’s a bit short on breadth and definitely short on healthy options. But again, there are plenty of other food options in the local area.

Parking is a bit difficult to find at first, the address on Google maps will put you at the front door, but not to the little check in parking lot or to the parking garage ramps. Signage is easy to miss, but once you find it, is very convenient and easy to get in/out of. Elevator takes you straight from the parking garage floors to room floors after check in. Pool and gym are difficult to find, many elevator switches and strange hallways, but nice spaces. The bar is spacious and is a great space! Hotel is located near lots of downtown fun spots and concert/show venues. Room was really cool, clean, and had a great view.

Requested king room with sofa bed, and there was no sofa bed. Not a huge deal to share a bed ,but also not what I booked for

Great stay!! There was so much to do in the building itself. Only complaint is that our balcony was covered in broken glass. I understand the railing to the balcony next door shattered, but they didn’t seem to care.. and there was quite a lot of glass bits that reached our balcony.

Safe

I booked 2 rooms, I Walked up to the agent at the front desk a lady, at arround 4pm fir check in, she gives me 1 room, and says we have to wait for the 2nd one it might not be ready, understandable up to this point, fee min later someone else walks up to her to check in and she gives them a room, At this point I don't understand, when i asked how come she had a bad attitude and never game ab explanation as to why they were getting a room when i was waiting for about 30 min. I don't recommend this Hotel for anyone looking for a smooth Customer service experience

My family and I stayed at Aloft Buffalo Downtown in August 2024, and we had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is modern and well-kept, and our room was clean and comfortable, making it a great place to relax. We stayed here for 1 night since we were doing back to school shopping. One of the highlights for our kids was the swimming pool, which has been recently renovated and looked fantastic. They absolutely loved it! The staff at Aloft were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Buffalo!
