The Chestnuts Holiday Cottages

Primrose cottage was so cozy and truly felt like a home from home. Claire and the staff was so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Having the laundry facilities available was very handy. All of us loved seeing the animals especially cheeky Rosie the goat. The country walk was enjoyed by myself and my two older children. Will definitely look to book to come again.

My now wife stayed at the chestnuts with freinds and family before our wedding,from start to finish I can say nothing but AMAZING!!!!

Good location for exploring Lincolnshire. Good facilities for children.

Would have been good to have towels provided.

Stayed here a few times now and it’s always a lovely stay. Clean well kept area. Holiday homes are always in good shape and the kids love it.

The communal areas and balcony were brilliant. Plenty of parking. New fridge and oven. Wonderful sunset vista from the balcony

An additional fee for using the tennis court was not advertised before we arrived. A lot of flies in the kitchen on arrival wasn’t nice to come in to. A shower head in the bath upstairs would be a very useful addition.

Beautiful location, cottage was well equipped. Very clean, quiet and private. The small playground was loved by the children, as were the animals they met on the farm. Lots of places to visit nearby so was a fantastic base.

The cottage had everything we needed for our stay but we think it needed updating as it was tired looking.

1st time staying here at THE CHESTNUTS HOLIDAY COTTAGES Everything - Primrose cottage was beautiful, it was just perfect for me and my family. Very clean and had everything you needed. It had an enclosed garden for our dog Bailey. It also has some lovely dog walk routes! Chestnut Cottages is a working farm, lots of lovely animals for kids to meet and feed. (Supervised by staff). Fresh eggs in the morning (yummy) from the chicken. Also has a lovely play park enclosed for the kids to play, even the older ones. Kids can go on tractor rides etc at certain times of the week/day. If you haven’t guessed it’s PERFECT FOR FAMILIES AND OUR FURRY FAMILY TOO !! BONUS - Free fast WiFi in the cottages Location - was an 18 minute drive from Skegness and Ingoldmells. You could have the hustle and bustle in the day and then tranquility in the evening.

Beautiful self-catering cottage, cosy and comfy, made my daughter shriek with delight as we walked in the door! Friendly, helpful staff. Lots on offer for the kids. Wish we could have stayed longer.
