Alda Estación Ourense

The hotel is right beside the station so in an excellent location for those travelling by train. Very pleasant helpful staff. Room was very clean and plenty of space for a solo traveller. The hotel is modern and accessible (I had an injury from hiking) and had a nice lobby.

The shower door didn't close properly so floor got a bit wet. The hotel is outside the historic centre but is easy to get to everything so wasn't a problem for me.

Good value for one night. Very near the train and bus stations. About a 10 minute walk to thermal baths. Cafés, restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

Well-located hotel, conveniently close to the station, and with ease of check-in after hours. The rooms were clean, and adequately equipped for this kind of hotel price and range.

Sound insulation is a bit poor, and you can hear a lot of noise from anybody in the corridors. The room could also use a bit more upkeep - the shower door did not close properly and was difficult to open, the silicon sealant in the shower had some black spots, etc... The beds were also not super comfortable (hard surface, springs...)
