Angelis Pension Frankfurt Airport

I'm a returning guest here. Always good, easy to book, close to the Frankfurt airport.

My room got upgraded to one with ac, which was very nice in the 30+ degree weather. The amenities were good and I had a great time. The staff was also very helpful and kind.

The room was very good value for money with a nice bedroom (including a bench and a fridge) and a good bathroom. We slept on the back side of the hotel and the room was very quiet. The beds were excellent. There are restaurants within walking distance.

A few things can be improved. We had problems with the wifi (fast, but not stable) and ended up using the free wifi-network of the local municipality. Second the check inn procedure was not very easy. When you arrive you must give them a phone call because the pension is locked and the adjacent restaurant is closed. But there are different numbers on the doors and the booking.com voucher. So it’s a bit confusing and difficult if you are from outside the EU and don’t have a local SIM.. The last thing that could be improved is the name of the pension.The name Angelis Pension is nowhere to be found on the building, the adjacent (closed) restaurant is called Zum grünen Baum. So it would be nice that the name of the pension or hotel is on the building.

Clean, modern and in a beautiful location in the town of Kelsterbach

No dislikes, but would help to inform guests arriving by bus from the airport to use bus station 22 where bus #73 leaves for Kelsterbach
