"Zwei wunderbar erholsame Tage am Grenzfluss Torneälv / Tornionjoki und seinen faszinieren Stromschnellen bei Kukkola"

Die Lage an den Stromschnellen von Kukkola (Kukkolaforsen) ist einfach fantastisch. Auf der anderen Seite des Flusses ist Finnland. Man kann den Fischern beim Fischen mit langen Stäben zusehen. Die Unterkunft selbst war auch bestens, mit allem was dazugehört. Der Besuch der elektrischen Sauna wie auch der Holzsauna ist kostenlos für Gäste der Unterkunft und des anliegenden Campingplatzes. Es gibt auch eine Rauchsauna (Schwedens größte), die allerdings in der Sommerzeit nur einmal pro Woche der Öffentlichkeit zur Verfügung steht (vorher erkundigen).
