Exceptionally clean, comfortable facilities with beautiful views to the nature and wild animals. The game drive exceeded expectations.

An unforgettable stay in every sense. From our balcony, we watched zebras, wildebeest, monkeys, ostrich, warthogs, impalas — even giraffes — all just meters away, living freely in their playground of nature. Our two game drives (one with Mongena, one with Günter) were breathtaking: white rhinos up close, playful cheetahs, lions crossing majestically, giant buffalo… all part of Dinokeng’s Big Five magic. Günter’s passion and stories made it all come alive. But what makes Abendruhe truly special are Anita and Günter — genuine, kind, and deeply connected to this land. Their welcome felt like meeting old friends. The lodge is spotless, serene, and full of heart. You don’t just stay here — you feel it. A piece of Africa that stays within you. ❤️ – Arnaud Gauthier

If I really had to find something to mention: the shower head in our unit was a little wild — sending water in all directions like it wanted to join the game drive 😅. But honestly, it didn’t matter — I had already let Anita know, and with hosts like hers, I’m sure it’ll be sorted in no time.

Wonderful place to spend a weekend. The owners are absolutely amazing. Thank you.
