Bank House Tamborine Mountain

Facilities, location, Recommendations for spots to eat, speediness of replies with hosts, the house itself is fantastic and well maintained. We had a great stay prior to and after our wedding! Thank you!

The old 'farm-style' house is beautifully restored, keeping it's historic charm with modern kitchen and bathrooms. Great lounge and dining space, and outdoor yard. Having 4 bedrooms (all with air-cons) and 3 bathrooms is very convenient, especially as 2 of the bedrooms have ensuites. The short walk to cafes and restaurants, or a short drive to IGA, Gallery Walk shops, public swimming pool and bush walks, is good for all ranges of interests and physical abilities.

It's great that there is air-conditioning in all the bedrooms, but it would have been so good to have air-conditioning in the lounge / kitchen / dining area. We had two standing fans going, but still found it very hot and stuffy. We tried opening some doors and windows, (but found some windows wouldn't open/stay open). This also allowed flies in as there aren't screens. But we realise for most of the year, Tamborine Mountain is cooler, and we were there in an extra hot period.

The house was spacious and had everything you needed. Great location, close to shops, coffee and restaurants.

Maybe a larger or more clear sign regarding no drinking the water, we luckily found it Reding the booklet but not all people might do that.

Location was fantastic. House was great for all the family and it felt like home. Well stocked and clean.

The sofa bed I slept on was like sleeping on a brick and the aircon in that room blows air but doesn’t cool down.
