"Lovely place 2 minutes from main square"

Very cozy place with amenities and then some. Great attention to detail and easy-to-reach location in the center of town yet far away enough from the masses. Firewood provided (which is becoming rare in other places).

Clean

Wrong side of town, people going to and from work walk past constantly and some ask for money no peace or quiet when sitting outside to enjoy the view. The opposite side of the town would be a better choice next time for a visit to Clarens.

"Winter weekend in Clarens"

We liked everything, except the bathroom.Very comfortable accommodation. Opening the fridge to milk, yogurt, juice etc to the coffee, buns etc was so awesome!

The bathroom is freezing. Possibly consider putting in an infra red heater for winter.

Clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished accommodation

The Wi-Fi signal is too weak in the bedroom, probably because the router is located in the other, main building. Since we came from Europe, we naturally had eSIMs, which allowed us to watch a movie in the bedroom using mobile data. MTN’s mobile network is very fast in Clarens, so from our perspective, everything was just fine.
