The location is convenient and close to the Nike and the visit sites

We arrived late and the appartment offered to us was not corresponding to the pictures of our booking. Living room and terrace were fine but only two rooms were ready to use instead of three, the bathroom nor the kitchen were different than on the pictures. It looks like the description on booking.com is a mixture of several appartments, to give a better image to the potential client than reality. The owner then try to be accommodating and gave us an appartment with 3 bedrooms to fit our children but at the end we nether get the comfort we have paid for. There was a leakage in the toilet so that floor would be constantly flooded. The doors of the toilets or restrooms had no handle and or were not closing. The kitchen was badly equipped. I recommand to rather pick another place

The apartment was in the best spot for going to valley of the kings and tombs loads of things to do near by.ahmed and his brother couldn't do enough for us.sorted all lifts out great food.made us feel welcome to there country

The convenient location although I would recommend another guesthouse rather in the same neighborhood

The appartment we got was not fitting the description of the appartment we had booked, nor the pictures. 1) No bath, 2) no washing machine, 3) badly equipped kitchen different from the one on the pictures of the appartment booked, 4) shower room/ toilet not closing with even no handle on the door of one of the toilet. 5) Toilet leaking so that floor was under water all the time. 6) No nice terrace as showed on the pictures. 7) parental bedroom different than the one on the pictures.

Balcony was very spacious. The swimming pool is lovely.

1. The rooms were on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator or any help to take our luggage all the way up. 2. Air Conditioning in 2 out of the 3 rooms were not working. 3. Air conditioning wires are exposed and one of the power switch is partially broken. 4. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. 5. The microwave had no glass plate, so was unusable. 6. There weren’t enough plates and cutleries in the kitchen cabinet. And no dish soap. 7. Bathroom door lock in the en-suite room was broken. 8. You are asked to order food based on WhatsApp pictures without mentioning the prices. The prices turned out to be what you would pay in Europe. You would pay less in a 5 star hotel; we went to restaurants in both Hilton and Marriott in Cairo and paid less.

The caretaker was a wonderful, wonderful man. ❤️

The old man who was the caretaker was so helpful and such a sweet and nice man, he was always pleasant with a smile on his face, assisted us at all times

The apartment got hot at times and could do with some large curtains on the living room windows to keep the heat out, apart from that it was fantastic

Though we booked well in advance of our trip, we were informed on the day of arrival that we will be accommodated at LEYLA apartments, further from the town centre. We did not have the energy to complain, especially travelling with 3 small children on a hot day all the way from hurghada by bus. This forced us to take taxis for every single outing, but I admit location was calm. Breakfast is expensive (5eur per person) in comparison to room price and we were not fond of the food so we bought food ourselves the other days. Apartment has cutlery plates etc but no dishwasing soap, and the fridge was turned off. The freshly washed towels were hung to dry on the balcony where birds poop... shame. Fortunately a couple towels were unaffected. I asked about excursion prices, taxi to Aswan (175 eur if I remember well) and guide services but was quoted high prices. We found adequate services, for a much better price by asking around in town. Pool water wasn't the cleanest but it could be due to winds (carries sand+debris) and lack of manpower etc... Young employee/son regularly knocked on our door to offer tea. One afternoon I informed him we were going to sleep/nap but he still came to knock and would not give up knocking, thus forcing us out of bed. Various employees asked us the same questions repeatedly (do you want breakfast, dinner, etc) and we had to confirm many many times. Despite saying we wanted breakfast at 7, nothing was ready at 7 which is annoying when one tries to leave early to visit sights. This is also a reason for not wanting breakfast the other days. Finally, two young men knocked on our door at 10 PM demanding one of our (unused) beds. We said our children were sleeping but they repeated their request until we firmly refused. They were not asking but rather demanding, so this felt very inappropriate. Other than that the apartment is large, has a nice view, is quiet but being at LEYLA apartments, it is far from the centre.
