New Ubud Hostel

There are two dogs in the hostel and unfortunately they are not tied up. When I first entered, I was told that dogs did not cause any problems and that I should not be afraid. However, they were barking at people passing by. Yesterday, when I was passing by someone, one of the hotel employees was petting him. Later, although the dog turned towards me two or three times, the employee did not come and pick it up. Finally he ran and I tripped and fell. My pants got dirty, my phone's glass was damaged and my knee was swollen. Even though this happened, they didn't even come and ask if I was okay. On the contrary, they did not tie the dogs again. I wanted to go out and get ice for my knee, but I couldn't go out because I was afraid. Because the dogs were in the garden again.

I really liked the place - great location, in the heart of the city, all main attractions are close. The accomodation was also great - specious bed and clean linen, friendly personnel, hot water and bed curtains (which I value as this is a bit of a privacy, in hostel it is very important). Even though the room was mix (for ladies and men), I felt very safe and comfy

the AC was a bit too much, but I turmed it off and it was all good thank you!

It was in the middle of the market which was nice to be surrounded by and it was very close to the big Ubud market indoors. Also surrounded by good restaurants etc. Very basic but good

The curtains should be longer especially for the top bunks because people could still see me and I could see them because they were too short. It would have been nicer to have full privacy. My light also didn't work

The only good thing was the mattress.

My checking was early morning at 5, I called the property before booking to check if the reception will be available. After they said yes, I booked it. But wen I reached there was no one and no one even picked the call. Morning breakfast, the lady was preparing pancake, I asked her for tea she did not respond and i finally I ended up without breakfast. The worst host I even came across

-Pancakes in the morning -the office's dog

-smelled bad because of mold everywhere -bathroom was completely dirty -I changed the hostel after one night. Couldn't stay longer. Thought it's not healthy to sleep on a mattress with mold. Especially because not just me was caughing during the night. (Show you a picture from my mattress) - No windows in the bathroom - you can't lock the bathroom
