Greenhill Farm Barn B&B

Lovely location - the information provided was Ok - especially as arrived quite late. Hosts there to meet us and sort out bags and a quick guide of what was in room and facilities in the outer corridor. Room was a great size and had a few extra touches to make it a relaxing place. Flexible on the time of breakfast so we could have a relaxed start to the day. Excellent breakfast with lots of really lovely locally sourced products, their own jams and I think better cooked than many good hotels we've stayed at. In fact almost too much food - we asked to get the homemade muffins to takeaway for later. Hosts very informative on where to go for food and other activities in the area - we didn't have time for that but considering a return with some more time to do so.

One of the main snags was the way the curtains worked in the sloping roof - didn't really do an effective job in blocking out morning light - possibly getting fitted velux type blinds would be better? It did mean we woke earlier but the views all pleasant and didn't feel rushed in any way. Seemed to be an issue filling bath with hot water but understood the plumber was due to get that fixed.

Dont usually leave reviews but felt I had to,because this place is just so lovely.Lizzy is so wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, she even offered to pick us up if we needed a lift from a nearby restaurant.Her breakfasts are gorgeous especially her homemade muffins and jam. We were sorry we couldnt meet Steve who unfortunately had hurt his back. Would highly recommend if you want a lovely quiet break

Loved everything! Our room was huge and light with lovely furniture and a very comfy bed. Nice big bath and a nicely decorated bathroom. Big TV which had lots of channels, even Sky. Room was really clean and well kept. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, lots to choose from. We had a full English which included cerals, fresh fruit and homemade banana and blueberry muffins with fresh orange juice. It was my birthday so Liz and Stephen bought my breakfast out with a candle in the sausage singing happy birthday, how sweet and thoughtful! Both were so friendly, chatty and interesting and recommended lots of activities local to the b&b. I highly recommend a stay here there are only a couple of rooms to book so it didn't feel at all busy. We will definitely return if we are staying in the area again in future.

My ONLY suggestion would be a full length mirror in the bedroom for getting ready. But that would be nit picking, it was a perfect stay.

The breakfast was superb 10 out of 10. The accommodation was excellent a big comfy bed great bathroom the room had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly & gave us plenty of advice about the local area where to go etc. all in all a perfect break

I can’t think of anything really it was a super place to stay in a lovely peaceful village in a stunning area. The only thing was the weather was a bit cloudy at times but that can’t be helped at all.

Lovely quiet location with an excellent breakfast provided including homemade jams, local produce and a good vegetarian option. Great hosts who make you feel like you have arrived home, highly recommend and would stay again.

I am both gluten free and vegetarian. The breakfast options on offer were fabulous. Homemade quince preserve for the yoghurt; best homemade Boston Beans .. avocado and perfect poached egg on toast with chives and flowers .. And the warm chat - it was a shame I had to rush off!

Second stay at Greenhills and it was as lovely the second time as the first. Really friendly hosts, amazing breakfast and lovely room, can't fault it
