I can't say enough about our stay here - it was outstanding in every way. The hosts are incredibly warm and gracious. The rooms are very comfortable. The meals are incredible (breakfast included, lunch and dinner optional at very reasonable prices). The setting is really gorgeous, and there are several day trips which are worthwhile in nearby Umbria and Marche. The pool and hot tub were are great hit as well. We couldn't have asked for more, and hope to return in the future.

Hard to reach without a car, the nearby town of Caldarola is still partly empty due to earthquake damage.

This was by far one of the best places we've ever stayed. My partner and I spent six amazing days here, welcomed and made completely at home by Aurelia, Giancarlo and their family. We had been to the region before and decided to come back because of all it has to offer (hiking, vineyards, hilltop villages, beaches and quiet tranquility that the rest of Italy is missing during August!) but this trip we had to force ourselves to do anything other than sit by the pool and wait for Aurelia to cook her next amazing meal. Everything was perfect and we're already scheming how to come back again. If you are looking for somewhere you can have three home cooked meals a day and be made to feel like family, alongside other guests, this is it. Only regret is not staying longer.
