Pension Fortna

This is an amazing place, truly the best spot to stay when you're visiting the city. Although there's a bar downstairs, it's not a problem in the evening. It's a very quiet place, and the sound of the water will help you fall asleep.

Add fan for hot summer evenings and place is perfect!

Quarto escuro, fotos diferentes da realidade. Banheiro dividido em dois cubículos apertados. Chaleira e cafeteira em uma cômoda sem tomadas por perto. Utensílios mal lavados. Mobiliário esparso. Embora a cidade não permita a entrada de carros, não fica claro no anúncio que teríamos que arrastar as malas por uma longa estradinha de terra e pedra para chegar no quarto. Ainda bem que o dia estava bonito e a vista da varanda era muito agradável.

Tolle zentrale Lage und wunderbar ruhig.

Die Räumlichkeiten. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stylisch. Die Zentrale Lage.

Comfortable bed and nice bedding. Good view over river from bedroom window. Solid furniture. Refrigerator, dishes, glasses and silverware provided. GREAT water pressure made showering a delight.

Chairs next to bed instead of bedside tables. Only one side had a tiny lamp, so I couldn’t use a reading light when my husband went to bed on the side with the lamp. Only one hook to hang a towel. No towel bars. No facial tissue provided. Property was very difficult to find with both Google Maps and Apple Maps. Must use Mapy.com to get correct directions, especially because cars are not allowed on streets by this property. Property did try to provide adequate, advance directions for parking and subsequent walking 500 meters to property and up stairs with luggage. No reception at this location, no assistance upstairs, no lift. They sent one email with subject: “Pension Fortna : Booking confirmation - Pension Fortna.” This was not enough to get my attention, and I missed it. If it had mentioned urgent, important information, or action required on my part, I would have read the email. They should definitely suggest downloading the mapy.com app for directions.

We loved everything. The proximity to the center and the shops cafes etc. The room was spacious and clean and the view from the windows was impeccable. All windows including the one in the bathroom had view at the river. You could even listen to the river when the windows were open, it's a pitty there were no windows screens (to keep the insects etc outside) we'd love to sleep with the windows open. I would definitely go back next time I' m in the area.

Everything was perfect. A couple improvements though would be 1.window screens to keep the windows open esp since no a/c 2. some type of shades to keep the sun from shinning directly in the morning.
