"Rest and reset road trip stop"

Hotel was a stay over on our drive to flagstaff. I can’t give it 5 stars for a few reasons. My good things to say is room was ok for just a quick stop and go. The staff was very friendly when we checked in. The hotel has for sure gone through renovations which looked lovely. Breakfast was delicious with many choices to choose from. Lots of parking with made it easy to unload and get to room. Very close to allot of Route 66 sites to see. Now for the some what bad. There was pee stains on the sleeper sofa, that my daughter had to sleep on and food like goldfish crackers with crumbs all around it. There was no bedding so we had to go to front desk to ask. The elevators smelled like wet dog which we knew it was pet friendly but still. No bed protectors were on the sleeper either. Stains on the cushions which was kind of gross. We also could hear a screaming child in room next door thank god we brought a noise machine. Other than that it was a quick rest and hit the road for us to rest and chill.

New building in a great part of town. Breakfast was delicious. Bed comfortable.

Our reception was cold. She was not friendly. Was unprofessional by chewing her gum while checking us in. She told me to look at the prompts on the machine and answer yes. Never explained anything or tell me when breakfast was being served. I was still in the lobby when the next patron came in and she explained everything while he was prompted by the check-in machine. She also explained when and where breakfast was being served.
