Jayaru Guest House

Шикарное расположение. Все достоприиечаткльности в шаговой доступности, рядом несколько кафе и ресторанов. Вкусный завтрак (останавливались на 2 ночи, один завтрак был шри ланкийский, на следующий день уже ближе к европейскому). Хорошая мебель и кондиционер. Очень душевный хозяин, помогал со всеми вопросами по размещению и нашим экскурсиям, помог найти недорогой туктук для экскурсии и подвез до автовокзала. Всем рекомендую.

We had a very pleasant stay. The owner and his family were extremely nice — besides serving us dinners, fruits, and cold water, they also provided bicycles and helped arrange a jeep safari. In the end, we even enjoyed a karaoke evening with them.

There was hot water only in one of our two bathrooms, but given the hot weather, it wasn’t a problem.

The location was very nice and clean

Clean rooms with A/C , van and moskitonet. Very nice breakfast , more oriental with enough fruits and plenty of tea, all included.. We had also twice good dinner with fair price. The host and his son are just perfect. So friendly, helpful and personal. We spend a nice evening togeather making music and karaoke. This place is really ideal for visiting the ancient city: You can rent enough bikes at the location for very small money and drive to and through the ancient City. It opens 07:30 and becomes crowdy around 11:00, when Your have already finished. It is really worth to visit, but best before 10:00 or 11:00 , that is why the location is Just perfect. We staid two days and can really recommend this place.

The host organized an bootsafary what was nice for us, because we saw elephants on the mainland where we left the boat and could walk as near to the elephants as it was safe. Very nice, but if you have already seen elephants at a safary, thete is not much to see at the boattrip. There is nothing bad to stay about the hostel, we really recommend the place.

次の目的地がマイナーな場所だったが、バスターミナルまで車で送ってくれて、乗るべきバスを一緒に探してくれたのでとても助かった

The cheapest and most cozy guesthouse; the best towel of Sri Lanka (!) among many other amenities - AC, fan, wifi, mosquito nets, breakfast - plus location and friendliness of the owners :)

Nice air-conditioned apartments in a beautiful shady garden. The apartments are located close to the sights, the lake and shops, but far enough from the busy main street. The host was very attentive and willing to help us with anything and completely arranged a safari for us, including transportation. He also lent us bikes, which we used to ride around the lake one day and the next day to ride through the historical ruins. We spent 3 nights in the villa and it was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend to everyone.

The family is incredibly welcoming, from the parents to the son, that is helping from time to time. The rooms are nice and clean, the bed comfortable and you can rent a bike there to go visit the city (although a bit old they work well). The breakfast was very good. Our only regret was spending only one night here and continue our chat with the son and father. Thank you for the hospitality and the ride to the bus station!
