Expensive parking does suck but I found free parking and walked. And no microwave in the room was kinda wack but I lived lol

The property was safe and quiet.

I had a very negative experience… I realized on Friday that I didn’t have my card with me. Thankfully, a friend from home hadn’t arrived yet and was bringing it. The hotel wouldn’t allow me to check in without the physical card present; at the time, I understood this. Even though I had the card information and my ID, I thought it was a formality. I filled out my auth form and waited for my friend to arrive. In this time, the hotel charged me in full for my room while still not permitting me to check in. I was stuck in my car with my child for HOURS despite having already paid a significant amount for our room. When I was finally able to check in, after 9 o’clock, the lady checking me in didn’t even take my card. Being charged for a room I couldn’t stay in and sitting in a car in Chicago for hours with my daughter who had to be up early the next day was unfair on so many levels. The hotel offered no apology and made no effort to rectify the situation. For the cost of staying there for the weekend, I found this to be unacceptable.
