Omni William Penn Hotel

Location, cleanliness, options for good food, walkable location to cultural district

My husband and I spent Valentine's Day weekend at the Omni William Penn, It was a wonderful experience in a beautiful, old-world hotel. The amenities are exceptional; the staff is very friendly and helpful. We dined several times in the Terrace Room and enjoyed our meals every time. I would not hesitate to recommend the Omni William Penn to anyone who wants to spend a weekend in Pittsburgh.

I could not love this hotel more. I had the opportunity to stay here for a conference and my stay was extended due to weather/flight delays. It is stunningly beautiful, clean, comfortable, staffed with pleasant people, and full of history! I loved the mattress and pillows so much that I had to go find the exact brands to consider buying for home. In fact, I bought a pillow before I even left the hotel! (I tried to provide links to the pillow and mattress but that was against guidelines.) Amenities like free water bottles and keurig coffee in room were very helpful. The staff were fun and eager to make my stay exceptional. The only thing I regret is not having purchased one of their sumptuous robes! Don't miss their hallway full of pictures and momentos from their 110 year history!

This stay has set the standard!! The Omni William Penn was an amazing experience. In addition to being simply stunning, great architecture, and perfectly located for what we needed, it offered many amenities. We were there for a week and hated to leave. First, every single team member was nothing short of excellent offering great service, always happy to help and just a pleasure. We did breakfast every morning in The Terrace Room, and our host, Harris, was superb. He knew us by name every morning, great attention to detail, friendly and a great guy. He made the breakfast a great experience as well. The room was very comfortable, gym was great, and while we were there for events at the PPG arena, this location is a quick 6 minute walk to the arena. We will definitely come back even if it's just to stay here.

Elegance, staff, comfort

There was a lot of noise from a party or event above us. They did take care of it and gave us a bit of a comp, so they were accommodating.

Location, the hotel is stunning. all of the staff members were superb and very kind. We especially enjoyed Harris our server. He was very cordial and attentive.

Lobby is beautiful. Room was okay BUT the heater was VERY noisy and the “grill” was filthy. The bathroom shower only worked by pulling the hot/cold handle out vs the normal “pull up” on the spigot. Tried to valet vehicle and was told do to the race/parade unless I wanted to be blocked in for 6 hours due to where the Omni William Penn parks the cars I had to self park which meant when checking out we had to haul our luggage almost 3 blocks and then a few hundred yards through the parking garage.
