Zoo House Chester

Everything you could possibly need was there and we heard the lions roaring from our bedroom and the chimpanzees .

Nothing really except the bathroom door didn't shut properly.

Location was ideal near Zoo and close to Cheshire Oaks

Needs hand rail in shower for disabled people to support themselves. Also could use a bedside unit in bedroom 3 to store clothes and to place personal items on overnight

The location is excellent for chester zoo, there is a handy walking trail near the house down to the zoo car park. The house was a good size with comfortable beds and fresh nicely smelling sheets and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were local shops, take aways and resteraunts close by. The owner communicated well and we felt welcomed, thank you. This was our second stay at Zoo House and I would book again.

There were a couple of light bulbs not working, but not problematic. Generally all was as I expected and I would book again.

Excellent location, good setting, very clean and tided, excellent facilities, very homely. The administration and communication was great.

Dish washer was smelly!

Great location for Chester zoo and local amenities, rooms Were spacious and very clean.

Unfortunately there was a party at the back of the property which was very loud until late in the evening

only positive thing about the house was the close location to the zoo!

the house was filthy, we were all bit , by what we don't know but sitting in the main living room within hours all had bites. No cloths to clean around kitchen after use , No dishwasher tablets although asked to put it on when we leave ! arrival message said coffee, tea , sugar provided, 1 teabag in pot so after travelling 3 hrs was not amused to have to go out and purchase tea bags. lots of cobwebs around , floors dirty, crumbs over worktops on arrival ( so say the cleaner had been ) ceiling lights not fixed properly, lots of un finished things in the property , for £194 for less than 24 hrs it's a joke the state of the property. House next door being renovated, lots of banging going on til past 11pm ! Dishwasher could not be opened fully due to being located wrong . Small room curtains not hung correctly , dead wasps in corners .

The property was ok for the first 2 nights apart from a lot of wasps around the garden and inside the property

The last 3 nights stay was unpleasant stressful as we found a wasps nest in the children air vent in the bedroom and had to sleep downstairs the last 3 nights because we were all stung we try to get hold off the person who we rented zoo house to ask for part payment back as we paid £723.18 for 5nights stay they offered us £75 back which is a insulate we not happy at all if anyone stays at zoo house just be cautious as they don't get back during the night and care if you have bad experience clearly I what book with with zoo house again.
