The fact it was 5 minutes from the zoo

From the start we were disappointed. Myself wife and children kept our shoes on in the house as the kitchen floor was sticky and dirty. Cutlery draw was filfy with used knives and folks. The sink in the kitchen was dirty with a used clothes in it. Dirty and food on the floor tiles. The living room seemed clean but then we noticed dirt and dust on the windowcil along with a remote control covered in oily finger prints and what looked like chocolate. The down stairs toilet had poo marks on the rim and wee stains down the bottom and on the floor. Smelt horrible. Upstairs toilet wasn't any better with mould all on the glass shower door and a broken window which we couldn't close. We had booked 2 nights, we turned up at 8pm Friday then left straight away the following morning. We have MANY pictures of the state the house was in. We have emailed Will who was greatly in conact with us until the email we sent across on how bad the stay was. Never again. Absolutely disgusting stay.

The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Zoo House. You really can hear the animals from the zoo on a morning - sounds fantastic! The house was a real home from home with plenty of facilities for children. Such as plastic plates , cutlery, toys, high chair ,baby gates and a cot. The house is also set in a lovely family oriented area , so really had a lovely atmosphere. If we visit Chester again we will definitely be back. The kids didn’t want to leave their ‘holiday house’! Thank you.

A real home from home with all you need for a very comfortable stay and more. The house suited a family of 5 adults and 2 children aged 4 and 5 months perfectly, very well equipped, plenty of space to sit and relax and eat together and the bonus of parking for 3 cars. The proximity to the Zoo is fantastic - amazing to hear the gibbons screeching in the mornings and evenings! Communication with Will was excellent with detailed information sent the day before and the key code on the day. We would definitely stay again!
