The Westin Galleria Dallas

Didn't have the breakfast, but the location was phenomenal. We love just walking out into the Galleria mall. I enjoy a morning workout, and their gym is amazing!

The hotel is good and it is in a great location. One of the highlights is the water pressure in the shower was amazing. Some lows were the elevators were extremely slow, and the hotel seems to look a bit run down, especially its carpets. The entire hotel has the feel that it once was very elegant, but it's definitely getting older.

Had a medical convention to attend here. Hotel is under construction but charged full rates despite jack hammer level noises. Elevators are scary- doors sound like they are barely working, lights burned out. Housekeeping is erratic and intrusive / apathetic. The lounge “ladies” are very nice but manager Leo is either told to be a shrill or is just in the wrong business. If you want a relaxing stay, I would avoid because you’re paying full price for the low low value of jack hammer sounds in the morning, topped off with apathy. The attached mall is convenient if you want to roam around a mediocre mall for your “vacation”. Adjacent restaurants are also Mediocre- the Oceanaire isn’t bad but seems to attract the drunk loud princess type that is the opposite of the reprieve you’ll need after the jack hammers are done for the day. And don’t complain to Leo- he really isn’t interested.

Convenient to where we wanted to be.

Staff not quite responsive when issues were pointed out. We told the front desk for 2 days there was no soap in the public area restrooms and they simply said they were aware. Responsive would have been buying a couple of bottles of hand soap and placing them in the bathrooms until the situation was resolved. Staff at the front bar who were selling Starbucks code in the lobby had no idea how to make or serve the coffee.
