Fairfield Inn by Marriott Port Huron

I would stay in this hotel again. We have no complaints to report. We had a comfortable stay.

Convenient location

No blackout curtains. Sunrise woke us up.

Great access to street but tucked away to provide some privacy

Pool has too much chlorine and burned my eyes.

Clean and freshly updated

No Fandual tv to watch the detroit tigers.

Loved the hot tub with adult hour, beds were comfortable, shower was fantastic. And it was super clean. Loved the oatmeal bar for breakfast & that there was 2 waffle makers plus oat milk was offered.

No flavored creamer, no flavored syrups for the coffee. Came down for breakfast at 8 and most of the fresh fruit was gone. And the coffee bar area needed to be refreshed as coffee was almost out as was the half & half & oatmeal milk. No usb plugs in the room. There were plenty of plugs but some particularly next to bed should include a usb.

We mostly had a great stay. We dtayed on the second floor, and coming right off the elevator, we could smell a musty, almost wet dog smell in the hallway. And getting into our room, it was the same. We didn't say anything to the front desk, and stayed there anyway. It was a bit annoying to smell that, but it wasn't unbearable. The bathroom sink also didn't drain very quickly. We also wished the painters of the outside building weren't painting when we were getting in our romm about 4-5ish pm. We had just got there and were wanting to get into comfy clothes. We had to just keep our curtains closed and not be able to open them. They would get started early the next day. Otherwise, we had really good service at the desk, very friendly staff. We really liked that the bathroom was so nice. We really were happy with the water pressure in the shower, with plenty of spaces to put our toiletries, and a nice surprise of shampoo, bodywash, and conditioner in the tub already! The hot tub and pool were so relaxing. The areas were neat and tidy, and not too far from our room. We chose to eat elsewhere for breakfast, but noticed one morning at 10 the breakfast was still out there!

The television was programmed to welcome me, Ariel from the front desk left a note in the room welcoming us. Also hot fresh cookies were complimentary as we got there
