Days Inn by Wyndham Lexington NE

Staff lacked any personality, the toilet in my room wouldn’t flush due to a corroded and broken chain in the tank, the Directv box was unplugged, plaster was coming off the ceiling, the shower tub had a large chip/crack in floor, and “breakfast” was laughable. Don’t anticipate returning to this location.

Disappointing part was the room that smelled like cigarette smoke. I should’ve believed the review someone else wrote, saying the same thing.

This place is a dump. If I had paid $50, okay, but 2 nights stay was $230. No security at the side entrance. Couldn’t open the refrigerator door because the bed was in the way. The coffee decanter was the wrong tape for our type of coffee machine, so no coffee. The toilet sounded like it wasn’t attached to the floor, or something was definitely broken on it. I was very shocked to see what an over $100 a night hotel looks like in small town in Nebraska. I would never stay there again. Just a dump. Oh and the USB ports that they had don’t work and the phone didn’t work so we were unable to call the front office to complain about anything. There were four of us staying in the room, which they knew in advance because I booked it that way, but there were no towels for four people and no bedding for the extra bed that they had in the room. And again no phone to call them. Check out a different hotel instead of this one.

Clean room, good breakfast, good service

Staff was friendly and helpful. Considering it was an in town location it was extremely quiet. Carpet felt a little icky in bare feet but it was a pet friendly room. Other than that it was well appointed and worth the payment.

Excellent stay for a leg of travel. Very good front desk and check in, spacious clean room, nice breakfast. Highly recommend.

Expedia did not communicate our reservation to the Days Inn. The manager worked for 30 minutes on our behalf to insure that we were not double charged, and she honored the rate we had contracted on Expedia. Our room was magnificent with a king bed, a small kitchenette with separate sink from bathroom, refrigerator, and microwave. Everything was excellent about our room, and I slept well for the first time during an overnight stay.

I reserved the king bedroom, got a queen. The shower was nice however the second shower nozzle did not spray did not work. There was a moldy spot just above the toilet and the ceiling which was really gross. The bed made you feel like you were going to fall on your head as you laid down because it tilted back it felt like. The bed sheets were itchy, triggering a paranoia, which ended up making me feel like I had bugs crawling on me and biting me. The chair they had looked like it hadn't been clean and over a decade, there was a burn spot of some sort on the right cushion which made you not want to sit in it! The microwave smell extremely horrible that they needed to deep clean it or just throw it away and get a new one. You didn't get your tea out of the icer. They didn't have any place for breakfast I mean it only had two tables. And it made it sound like someone was trying to break into our room and wake us up all night so we were tossing and turning and did not sleep well at all. Not satisfied at all.
