"Our stay was nice because we spent most time at that amazing beach."

Location is great. The best part of this hotel is the beach.

Rooms are looking run down, bed sheets need to be replaced, some furniture pieces looked damage (mini fridge cabinet), mirrors were stained. In the morning you can hear every single door slammed. Food was the worst part. The quality of both restaurants have declined since the last time we stayed.

"Unbeatable location, untrained staff and management missing in action!"

The breakfast was nice, even though our waiter could never recognize us after serving us twice. Not to mention calling us by name!!! The beach was excellent, a petty thing, you are not allowed to smoke a cigar, and you will be kindly invited to move your ass to the parking lot for that purpose. The staff, generally speaking, is average except JP, the bartender who works for 3 guys and probably doesn't get the right compensation. He fixed two drinks for us in a zip and passed our food order to the kitchen. I enjoyed the best Cuban sandwich I had in years!!!! Our dog had a blast for the first time at the beach!!! We missed the poop bags, as all containers were empty all the time.

We were kicked out by an employee from the Hammocks beach as we were walking through in direction to our room. This tall dude with a beard, dreadlocks, and a diva attitude simply blocked our way through the beach walk and made us walk back the entire property (barefoot) in the opposite direction to get back to our room. I felt like a second-class guest, as if my money wasn't worth anything in the place we were staying at. He probably was angry for God knows what reason and took it with us. I have never seen anyone so rude working in hospitality.
