The Westin New Orleans

We have stayed at the Westin New Orleans several times before but our recent visit was a disaster. They lost our prepaid reservation for 3 rooms, charged our credit card for meals in the restaurant that we never went to, charged our credit card again for hundreds of dollars and could not explain why, tried to tell us that a city view was equivalent to a river view, and argued and insulted us at every turn. If we had not had confirmation of our prepaid reservations we would have been turned away with no rooms. We have tried to resolve this at the front desk but have not had any success. We paid thousands of dollars up front to be treated like this. This is not the New Orleans way, any other hotel would be better than this.

The location of the property was great, the views of the lake from my window was awesome.

The shower curtain was dingy, the tub could have been cleaned better.

My stays at The Westin New Orleans are always truly outstanding from beginning to end. The hotel itself is beautiful, perfectly located along the river and within easy walking distance of the French Quarter, restaurants, and so many iconic New Orleans attractions. The rooms are spotless, the bed is to die for, and there are incredible views of the river or Canal Street. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the consistent exceptional service from the team especially Guisselle Villegas, the Reservations Supervisor. Guisselle is always incredibly responsive, professional, and genuinely helpful. She handles every one of my many requests with care and efficiency even after I have checked out lol. It’s rare to encounter someone who is not only highly competent but also so kind and attentive. Her dedication to ensuring everything goes smoothly is top tier. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant is always another highlight of my stays, thanks to Ms. Deidra - Sorry If I misspelled your name. She is absolutely a gem. Always friendly, attentive, and shows the warm southern hospitality that makes each morning start on a positive note. The entire staff at The Westin New Orleans embodies true hospitality. Between the beautiful property, prime location, and exceptional service from team members like Guisselle and Ms. Deidra, this hotel truly stands out. I always try to stay here and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans.

I love this hotel. The view of the river at Observatory 11 is gorgeous and peaceful. The staff is extremely attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I have to highlight Viri “V” at the front desk. Viri always greats me with the biggest smile and greets me by name. It makes me feel like I’m being welcomed into a dear friend’s home. The location is great too, right in the quarter and easy access to everything in the CBD.

I come here every time looking for Ms. Benita! She has the best customer service and is always so sweet. Thank you Ms. Benita!

Bonita and T are the absolute best. And honestly. Every person that works here was amazing. I am most definitely coming back with my wife for a personal trip instead a business trip. All in all, I was VERY impressed by the service. The atmosphere. And the experience. Well done, TEAM! - Ana Bird
