the location was actually very convenient

the hotel was not clean or comfortable -the air condition did not work despite attempts to resolve it

Staff excellent, Breakfast tremendous, room a little old fashioned. Reception very helpful. easy walking distance from the centre of Modena and all that that offered,

Map on booking.com could have been better, it didn't give an accurate view of where the hotel was. As it turned out it was in the centre of Modena. we were travelling by train and the station was in fact too far away to tow a large suitcase on foot, but taxis always available and very reasonable.
