I am a Platinum Marriott member and travel around 70% if the time. I was fully prepared to give this one a decent review - despite the current renovations. The room was updated and clean enough but I was EXTREMELY overcharged. I do not typically book through outside sites but the room was booked and paid for by another party. At check in I provided my personal card for parking and incidentals. I should have only been charged $21.85 for parking. Instead, I was charged the following: $283.96(2x$50; $21.85; $162.11) on a room that was prepaid??!!! I was not offered an apology when I inquired about - only “it was a mistake - it will be 3-5 days for a refund”. When I asked to speak to a manager / the front desk refused and even accused me of being confrontational threatening to “block me”…I guess customer service is not a focus here - especially when it was a major mistake on their behalf.

Staff was excellent, kudos to Tyler Bouchard. He checked us in at 11 pm, was able to direct us to breakfast the next morning, and even walked us out of the building to guide us to the rental car location!

price was a little steeper than we were accustomed to, but the accommodations were well worth the cost
