Days Inn by Wyndham Athens

All was good and convenient and clean needed a fresh bed to sleep in at night and that’s exactly what I got. People were nice hotel was clean and the breakfast in the morning was great.

Easy access off the highway. Friendly staff. Room clean and no carpet was a plus. Easy access to WiFi.

Close to road means a lot of street noise. Option to have a ground floor room. The website stated there was a coffee pot but the room didn’t have one. 1 suggestion the AC vent cleaned.

Move on! We found a dead bed bug lying on the bed. We searched the room and found it to be very dirty and gross. Luckily, we did not unpack our bags. I went to the office to show them a photo I took of it. Was told it was an ant, and I said, "I want OUT." They offered another room, but I wanted a refund. Got it and left. I was so angry and tired after a long day of driving. We were able to find a clean, comfortable place near Interstate 73. Had to pay more, but it was worth it! Two days later, I realized I had left my favorite wide-brim hat there while we were rushing to leave. I called Days and they had my hat but refused to mail it to me even if I paid the charges. I was told to come back for it if I wanted it.... we were on a trip to the Smokies, 120 miles away. I was able to have someone from the hotel we stayed at kindly pick it up and mail it to me.

Nothing fancy about this motel but super clean and beds were very comfortable

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We only stayed one night.
