Hampton Inn Staunton

My husband and I have traveled for business for 6 years, and most nights we spent in Hilton properties, Hampton Inn’s especially. In all those years we’ve never experienced a breakfast service as poor as what we experienced this morning at your hotel. No milk, no oatmeal, no eggs, approximately 6 slices of bacon and empty chaffing dishes. My husband asked for milk and voice his surprise at the poor conditions. He was told by an employee that they’ve been told to stop putting out food at 9:45 A.M., because the general manager said, they were wasting too much food. GM, for your information, if breakfast is to run to 10 A.M. on a Sunday morning, guests should expect they can get breakfast between 9:30-10 A.M., if they so desire. You should know, prior planning prevents poor performance! Today families were scrounging for the scraps! This is a shame because overall our room was clean and well apportioned. Don’t run your hotel into the ground because you fail to give guests ALL they expect in a stay at a Hampton Inn by Hilton. Please take these comments seriously.

The staff was as friendly as I have ever seen. They handled every request promptly with a smile. Breakfast had multiple options and plenty of food. I'll be back soon.

Our stay is always great st this hotel. We’ve been using this hotel for about 10 years. My only remarks are about the hotel itself. It I’d definite need of an upgrade. It’s age is beginning to show especially in the carpets.

Friendly staff, good location. Breakfast could have been better for the price. Scrambled eggs were dry. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

I liked how quiet and peaceful the hotel was. Great breakfast daily, plus cookies and coffee each afternoon. It was located to nearby restaurants and gas stations to fill up. They had terrific beds for a good night’s sleep.

Customer service was excellent. Did not care for other guests that had no regard for sleeping guests. Loud talking in hallway and slamming doors late at night.
