Excellent location, big room, helpful host. Good breakfast whit homemade products. Very quit to be in such a great location

Historic building in the center of everything one would want to experience in Ragusa Ibla. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Getting in and out of the bathroom was tricky.

Immergersi in una dimora storica, nel cuore del barocco di Ragusa Ibla! Giuseppe un hist super! Dall’aiutarci con il parcheggio all’accensione (non da noi richiesta ma sicuramente apprezzata) del riscaldamento in una serata freddina nonostante la stagione. Menzione particolare per la splendida colazione con prodotti ottimi e marmellate fatte in casa.

Het gratis parkeren was een uitdaging, maar we hadden geluk dat er dichtbij het appartement een plekje vrijkwam.

Posto centralissimo, stanza e struttura storica davvero bella e affascinante. Giuseppe e Vanessa due persone squisite che accolgono gli ospiti con grande professionalità e amore per questo posto in cui sembra essersi fermato il tempo. Camere pulite e per qualsiasi cosa basta chiedere. Se dovessi ritornare in zona sceglierei senza dubbio questa location. Ottima colazione

The host, Giuseppe, excels in the art of hosting. My wife and I, along with two other couples, are on a 12 day driving tour of Sicily when we stayed in Ragusa for a night on April 29, 2026. In order to visit Caltagirone on the same day that we are scheduled to check in, I asked Giuseppe whether or not we could leave our luggage at the B&B with arrival time at Ragusa around 10:30. After having received a positive response, our group arrived at the B&B slightly after 11:00. Not only did Giuseppe welcome us personally at the B&B, he arranged for us to check into our rooms early! Furthermore, he upgraded one of our friend's rooms for free without us asking!! The B&B is in a grand old building that has been kept up beautifully. My wife and I had a very restful sleep. The uovo all’occhio di bue, as well as the various pastries, made by Giuseppe and his gracious wife for our breakfast, were delicious. On April 30, Giuseppe let us leave our luggage at the B&B until 14:00 so we could roam Ragusa Ibla freely. He gave us a key to the front door of the B&B and prepared a rest room for our group to use. If we return to Ragusa in the future, we would love to stay in Donnafugata again.
