Tampa Airport Marriott

I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both brand standards and my personal experiences. I stayed one night at the Tampa Airport Marriott due to a late arrival, and for that purpose, this hotel is exceptionally convenient. Once you exit the airport tram system, it is a short and very easy walk directly to the hotel. The integration with the airport makes arrival seamless and stress-free. I was recognized as a Titanium Elite member at check-in and received an upgraded room with access to the concierge lounge. The room itself was very nice, with a comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. I also had a room with a view of the airport and one of the runways, which was an interesting perspective without being disruptive. The concierge lounge was open during my stay and offered a good breakfast in the morning. This added meaningful value, particularly for an early departure. (Travelers should note that the lounge is not open on weekends.) Overall, this was an excellent airport hotel experience. The combination of superior convenience, a nicer room than I expected, strong elite recognition, and a good lounge breakfast makes this a property I would absolutely stay at again when traveling through Tampa.

Connected to the airport

We had an early morning flight and had to return a rental car, and this hotel made everything easy. We dropped off the rental car the evening before, took the airport tram to the terminal, and walked to the check in desk. The staff were very friendly and helped us get a better room. We worked out in their workout room, stopped at the lounge for a drink, and ordered room service—delicious! We loved watching the planes take off as the sun was setting from the comfort of our room. Next morning, we walked to the gate within minutes and made our flight with time to spare. Overall, a wonderful experience in a very nice, clean hotel.

More vegetarian choices on the room service menu. Other than that, I can’t think of a thing.
