"Decent Airport hotel option for Houston "

Checkin attendant was spectacular. Room is clean and nice but somewhat retro. Could use updating. Unfortunately we didn’t have AC. It was too late and we were too tired to pack up and change rooms. Wish it came with included breakfast even if it was a prepackaged pastry and coffee. Like the 12 pm check out time as our flight got delayed and we had a place to stay for a bit.

Stay was fine. Wish there had been more options for breakfast. Refill the complimentary toiletries as we were there for one night and didn’t bring those things for our stay.

I had my first visit to the Drifters Lounge for the first time last year. I have been hooked ever since. The food is beyond delicious, but that is not the best part, their amazing staff kept me coming back. The staff is attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful dining experience. I have brought numerous friends to experience the lunch time pasta station with Chef Sal. He never disappoints with his amazing skills! Chef Sal is the absolute best with his tantalizing dishes that keeps me returning on a regular basis! He makes sure your food is to your liking and his personality makes you feel welcome. Sonya and Ivy are the icing on the cake. What a joy it is to experience really good customer service. I have never had a visit when the the service was not phenomenal. I come here at least twice a month and they seem to know me by name. I even had the opportunity to meet Kim on one of my visits, she works the front desk. Everyone is so accommodating and welcome you with a smile. You don't get to see that much any more. I bring friends and those friends bring their families and friends with each one sharing rave reviews. This hidden treasure is the best thing on the Northside. Nothing but good food, good service and good vibes!
