- Great and fun staff - Nice living room (chalet style) with comfortable sofas - Very clean everywhere - Showers with hot water and good pressure - Big well equipped kitchen - Got a free upgrade to a private room :) - Swimming pool and tennis court (with rackets and balls) are free to use although I haven't used them - Excellent wifi - Cute little dog in the hostel - Pigs and horses outside

- Location is convenient to visit Waitomo area if you have a car, but the hostel is not in town so buy your groceries before coming.

La atención del personal

Schöne Lodge, alles sehr sauber. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet. Die ganze Anlage ist super gepflegt und schön im grünen gelegen. Es gibt sogar einen Tennisplatz den man kostenlos nutzen kann und einen Swimmingpool.

Die Matratze war nicht sonderlich bequem.

I stayed there for one night during a road trip. The room and facilities were clean and the staff were very friendly. Well equipped kitchen with multiple stoves, so no need to wait for your turn to cook. The hostel is conveniently located near Waitomo Caves and other attractions. Good value for money. I would stay there again.

The bed in my room was okay but not super comfortable. There was no air condition in the room, which made it quite hot inside at the beginning. That said, by opening the window at night this didn't bother my sleep.

The check in was a breeze, the staff really helpful regarding our plans in the area, offered to help us book our tours for the following day and helped us find somewhere to eat that evening as we arrived unprepared. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen well-stocked. There's a great wrap-around porch so you can sit outside with wine or coffee and enjoy the views of the countryside. It's a really great location.

It might already be on the website so maybe this is my own fault but we should've picked up food from the supermarket to cook before we arrived, en-route to the location as it is pretty isolated but it was only a 20-30 min drive back to the nearest town for supplies (dinner and breakfast) so not the end of the world.

Die Matratzen waren sehr durchgelegen und man hat die einzelnen Bettlatten gespürt. In den Duschkabinen und im Bad gibt es lediglich einen Haken, aber keinerlei Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kosmetika
