Stanley Lakeside Spa Cabins

Loved the location and the cabin was very spacious and clean. Spa bath was a bonus during our cold, blustery stay. Liked to have met the owners but no complaints and would happily stay again.

The location was great, beside a lake. Very serene & peaceful.

The cabin was very private and overlooked the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Nice ground area to relax, explore and walk around. It was about a 5/6 minute drive into Stanley.

There was a very good selection of pots and pans. It was quiet apart from traffic noise from road close by but that was low overnight.

It felt rather gloomy and dark as pine clad throughout and needs updating to give a more uplifting feel to it. 2 nights would have been enough, 4 nights was too many and beginning to find bed a bit uncomfortable & surroundings a bit oppressive. It needs a lot of work doing to the grounds outside. It is however a unique experience that many would like

Situated on the highway so it was very quiet until about 8am. Only 2 cabins in the complex which was quite big with several small lakes. It was a lovely quiet and picturesque environment however the area was in need of some attention - obviously it was once very nice but now ground buildings are a bit run down. Cabins were fine however ours was a little unclean with a thick layer of dust in some areas. No internet present but all other facilities were usable. PowerPoints in bedroom were not conveniently placed.It was 6 km from Stanley so you needed a car to get in to town.
