Lucy's guesthouse

Alex and Kleopatra are lovely hosts. We felt very welcome. The house is very clean, including the shared kitchen, which has all the necessary appliances. The location is perfect. We can only recommend it and we hope to come back soon.

Fantastic location, close to most famous beach, close to market, very quiet neighbourhood, very nice hosts Alex and Kleopatra. Everything was perfect, clean, i love a balcony and kitchenette. I’ll return one day.

Alex was a very friendly host. We were able to spontaneously book breakfast and bicycles for selected days without any problems. We felt very comfortable and welcome. The location is inland, but everything on La Digue is easily accessible. You have everything you need! The price-performance here is really great! We would come back and recommend it to others :)

Comfortable bed and clean bathroom, just what you need. Alex was a very attentive and responsive host. The facilities had everything you need.

It was overall a great stay. In the room we are in the WiFi router and the aircon are quite bright at night, we had eye masks from the plane to counteract that and it was fine

Place is owned and run by a couple. They do this with great commitment and heart. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, I recommend it. They also gave good advice on where to go and when, really valuable advice and also manage to organize rental bicycle just in a few minutes. This is a place I can come back to again.

They wanted pay in cash, and told me after we already booked and I couldn't cancel, because I will have to pay a fee. Now I see they canceled my booking, even if we spend the night there. Weird. When we came, in the room we heard the loud noise whenever someone in the house used the water. Felt like we have a some water pump just right behind our heads. Owner said no one complain about it before but I highly doubt it. If you get bottom room, I'm sorry but it's very loud. Luckily, we have been outside most of the time. They didn't offered any compensation or different room. Overall it felt like they were not really happy that we stayed there, maybe because we booked just one night.

- Alex is super friendly, helps whenever needed (arranging bikes, tranfers etc) - There is a shared kitchen in the house, tidy and plenty of utilities. - Good location, central - mini fridge in room + shared fridge in kitchen

- the size of the room is like described but with a relatively big bathroom causing little room to remain for bedroom itself. This makes it a bit tight for 2 persons + luggage. - room on ground floor has no private outside space. - the room on ground floor is next to kitchen, which causes a bit of noise complaints

The Host was very friendly and accommodative to our requests. The host / cleaning person, when cleaning the room, even folded our clothes and arranged our personal stuff in the wardrobe, which we did not expect. It adds a personal touch of warmth. I recommend Lucy's guest house for people looking for a few day's stay in La Digue. A very nice host.
