Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa

The hotel is centrally located with easy access to metro and bus lines. The center of Lisbon and tourist attractions are a brisk 15-20 minute walk. The hotel staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with views of Lisbon. The spa and pool area is a highlight and an ideal place to relax after a day sightseeing. The spa/pool staff are very helpful, friendly and kind. The hotel restaurant provides a brilliant atmosphere and excellent food. The nightly singer are exceptional especially the Sunday evening modern music with a jazz element.

We had an excellent experience at the Sheraton Lisboa. The room was lovely, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional, and the restaurant was excellent. The breakfast buffet was extensive and varied, with an egg station. Our restaurant meal and the happy hour at the Sheraton Lounge were delicious. My husband enjoyed the regular and the hot pool. And to top it off, the hotel was less than a block from the metro station. I would happily return any time!!

We had exceptional service and terrific Bonvoy amenities. I had been leery of booking a Sheraton but this was the best option using Bonvoy points and the website promised a 5 star experience. This is the first Sheraton we have patronized that truly delivers on that promise. It’s not the Four Seasons, but I would stay again given the opportunity. It began with a warm reception and a very kind, accommodating bellman. The club level room was clean and well appointed. The amenities in the room and the towels far exceed the New York Marriott Marquis, where we stayed last week. The fitness center is large, clean, and offers all you need for a good workout. Instead of a private executive lounge, they use the Lobby Bar which offers each Bonvoy elite guest a complimentary, generous tray of tapas along with beer or house wine while you listen to live entertainment. We have never encountered such a warm reception and quality offerings in an executive lounge or M Club and we travel extensively. Highly recommend this property.

Very friendly staff all around the hotel and during entire stay. At check-in, at the bar, at breakfast. They all speak English very well. Upon check-in we received some typical Portguese pastries, which in this case were very tasty, and at the bar I was offered a complimentary drink later in the evening. I must have stayed in Deluxe room, as it was on a lower (4th) floor. My first impression? You must really like dark (brown) colors. It is on the floor, the walls, the furniture. The hallway and the doors. Maybe the room I had is still is to be updated as it did not look like the online pictures (those seem lighter) and the furniture had quite some wear and tear. The room had two "twin beds", which seemed somewhat smaller than expected but probably are standard sized. Still comfortable as long as you lay straight, and very comfortable pillows that are breathable with soft touch covers. Instead of a proper wardrobe with doors, there was a wardrobe area covered by a (gold/yellow colored) curtain. This curtain also covered the door to a room that was connected. If you do not like the idea of a connected room, I suggest to confirm at check-in. The bathroom is modern and spacious, with a separate toilet and bidet. This room had no walk-in shower, but a bath instead. The bath itself is very wide. I personally prefer a walk-in shower, and I have heard complaints about the bathtub becoming slippery while in use - which was resolved by adding an antislip mat after requesting. I had to work some hours from the room, which is when you notice the desk and chair do not match in height. Even with my length, the desk is relatively high compared to standard, and the chair is too low to accomodate that. It seems more like a regular dining area chair. It cannot be adjusted in any way. It becomes inconvenient to type, use your mouse etc. The TV is very modern, and allows you to cast your own device if so desired. There was a device that allowed to charge your phone wirelessly if your device can do so. There was a Nespresso coffee maker with sufficient cups for use. Refilled next day (I asked). Worth mentioning: the blinds allow to fully block the light, which is helpful if the desire is to sleep in. All in all, my room seemed a bit outdated except for the bathroom and television. Breakfast was good, with fresh fruit, juices (properly fresh squeezed orange juice), home made yoghurt. Admittedly: the Portuguese pastries I received at the reception were tastier than those served at breakfast. Those were less crisp, and still somewhat cold. Friendly room services. Very reasonable price/quality. The hotel has a Panorama floor. When trying to take the elevator there, it would not accept my keycard. This was on two consequetive days/multiple attempts. I asked at the reception, and they indicated there was a (planned) event. The receptionist was so nice though to double check if I could have a look regardless, which turned out to be possible. It is indeed a nice panoramic view of the city, but nothing too spectacular. Great though that it was still made possible so I am thankful for that. I did not use a lot of other amenities of this hotel , such as the pool, gym etc. As such, reserving some judgement, and hope my review is helpful regardless.

I arrived at 9am, I was given a room but was not upgraded as part of my Platinum Elite benefits. The staff did not inform me about my Executive Lounge Access as well, the staff did not ask me about the welcome gift. I had to find their assosicate just to ask for the welcome gift which I believe they should proactively ask upon arrival
