Humør på enkelte personale. Var fullbooka ved innsjekk. Resepsjon sa me hadde fått upgrade på rom. Vart sendt i ein ukoselig leilighet med gammel standard som ikkje prega av lite bruk og dårlig renhold og det var kaldt. Fekk skifta rom dagen etter og fekk det me bestilte. Når ein snakkar upgrade, bør det ikke være et forsøk på og lure folk!

We are not frequent travelers, so you should take that into account when reading this review. I had checked the one and two star rating prior to arriving, and from my observation almost all the complaints about renovation noise, dated and musty rooms, and an inadequate breakfast area, most of which were prior to 2026, are history. The hotel is fully renovated and the breakfast area is quite nice. Noise is not a problem. Our room, booked by a travel company, was luxurious. It had all the amenities that a Bonvoy member might expect including the personal greeting on the TV. Our king bed was huge and wonderfully comfortable, with numerous pillows and a cover so expansive that my spouse did not have her normal complaint of my pulling it off her during the night. The room was large and clean, and the towels fresh daily. Check-in was easy, and I have rarely experienced such undemonstratively helpful and friendly staff. We were checked in efficiently by Karen. This was our first time visiting Stockholm, and she provided an orientation to the area and the city, with some personal tips which were helpful. We then got a chance to work with William, who was so suavely unassuming that we only later learned was the head concierge. He unhurriedly mapped out the city for us, made suggestions as to what we might wish to do during a short visit, added personal insights, and even took the time to contact our booking agent to straighten our some questions we had regarding prepaid tours. Every single staff member we encountered seemed equally well-trained and helpful. Later we had a few more questions and were helped by Catherine, who also with the same friendly and unrushed manner provided answers and drew out locations on a provided map, and gave us hints on local transportation. I was impressed by the breakfast at a previous hotel, but this one was even better. There was everything one might imagine, plus more. The location was perfect for us as tourists. It was quite easy to walk to the old town and City Hall, to "museum island," and to the downtown shopping areas. I did not use the gym, but our companions reported it was superb and modern, with lots of amenities available. Not much more to add. The hotel is fully renovated and very modern. The staff is outstanding. Housekeeping was excellent. I just wish we could have stayed another few months.

Check in sırasında bizimle ilgilenen resepsiyonist bayan maalesef son derece ilgisizdi. Oda teslim saatinin 16:00 olduğunu öncesinde odayı asla veremeyeceğini söyledi, bende belki biraz daha önceden hazır olursa bilgi verebilir misiniz diye rica etmeme rağmen direkt kestirip atarak olumsuz bir tavır sergiledi. 5 yıldızlı bir otel konseptinde bu denli bir yaklaşım doğru değil.

Breakfast was excellent. The room was very nicely decorated with brand new towels. We had a sea-viewing room, which had a very nice view of the Gamla Stan across through large panaromic windows. The location is perfect for reaching all major attractions.

The towels being new had textile dust on them which spread across the room while using.
