Dishwasher would have been nice, and the electrical wires and building crane were making the view a bit less great

The house is large, cozy, with a nice view. One gains energy for getting to know the beautiful island. You will feel at home. Francisco's recommendations of places to visit are great. Beautifull wineyards, restaurants and supermarket - everything is very close.

Great kitchen, spacious living room, great view of the coast and Faial. washing machine was a plus! owners were very responsive and quick to react to any issues!

it was very clean and had nice views of the bay. it is spacious and well decorated.

The property is not secure, the balcony door on the first floor does not lock. I notified the property about this and they said this was intentional so that guests don’t get locked out. This doesn’t seem like a great alternative and may be concerning, particularly for solo female travellers or families with children as the balcony can easily be reached from the front door. The property manager is not particularly helpful when it comes to booking taxis, he recommended I contact a tour operator. That would be fine but the booking.com listing says they do offer a shuttle service at additional charge. The listing needs to be updated to be more accurate.

Perfect location !!! in the middle of MADELENA. 2 min from the biggest supermarket. 3 min from the restuarnts. All the kitchen appliens where perfect! the WIFI was great !!! We where 5 people and we all loved it !
