The room and building is wonderful. The view is great. Close to everything. I just wish the check in was easier. The instructions were very unclear. So many pages and explanations. Since it's online, it's hard to get clear instructions. Had to go up then down then back up again to get the key. Should have someone to hand you a key instead of you just figuring it out yourself. Security was no help, no one could really help us. Parking is horrible.

Beds are comfortable. Smaller apartment than photos depict, it’s clean but also a bit outdated with some weathered furniture - the curtains are lacking and some are held up with tape which made it very bright in the morning and harder to sleep. There’s only one key fob which makes it harder for couples who stay and have different schedules or plans as you need the fob for the elevator. Otherwise great location downtown and close to The Well and many downtown amenities

The check in instructions and the parking instructions were unclear and some of the information was incorrect which lead to a long and delayed check in where we had to figure out most of the process ourselves. The fob to get in and out of the room is inconveniently located in the room upon arrival so you cannot use it to get into the building/room. It also did not work half the time. The overall cleanliness was extremely poor. There were wet bed sheets and dirty floors and counter tops. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Bring your own pillow(s) if someone plans on using the sofa bed during your stay. Ultimately, the convenience of this place’s location was the only positive from this stay. Other than that, stay far, far away from booking your stay here.

The house cleaning basically overload all the linens in one wash; as the result, all the sheets were super wrinkled and very hard to sleep in. the dryer basically over loaded with all the bedding from previous guest. had to follow up with multiple emails/phone calls in less than 48 hours prior to departure as we never received any check-in information.

The building is beautiful and convieniently located with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and transportation right outside. The unit was also very clean, nice, and tastfully decorated. Over all i was very happy with the stay with only 1 complaint about the amenities. There is a smart TV with a Roku in the unit but i couldn't get it to work. I messaged the globalstay staff about it and they responded pretty quickly initially but then left me in the middle of troubleshooting and never responded again. I never did get the TV working. Also parking was a little complicated since there is a private parking area that is only accessible via remote control. I paid extra for the parking space but that is understandable. To gain access you have to park in visitor parking first, if any spots are open. Then proceed to go into your unit to get the garage access remote. The elevator is also only useable with the remote including to the parking floor. Upon check out I had to leave the key fob only to discover that i could not get to my car without it so i went all the way back up to the unit to get the keyfob. Then i was able to go all the way back down to the garage to get my car out to the street. I had go go all the way back up again to drop off the key fob at the unit before finally descending for the last time to my car. The whole process took an extra 25 mins since the unit was on the 47th floor and each time i went up and down it stopped a handful of times on other floors.

The host was unresponsive during check in and I could not get into the garage parking. I had to pay for another spot further away since I could not get ahold of anyone for help. I called the host on office/cell phone lines as well as email and never heard back. Then at 4am the fire alarm went off throughout the entire building and we had to evacuate. We had to walk down 49 flights of stairs in the middle of the night and wait outside for the fire department to then tell us they are investigating a false alarm on the 29th floor and to go back to our units. Since the whole building was outside we had to then walk almost the entire way back up to even catch an elevator. This had by far been the worst experience with a stay I have ever had.

You get what you pay for. This is not a 5 star property but it was 1/5 of the cost of a hotel for a family of 5 in Downtown Toronto. This is equivalent to an air bnb. Check in is done via email and over the phone. I checked out on Sunday morning and received my deposit back exactly 7 days later via PayPal with no hassle. The unit was not the one in the picture and had been flooded in the past and never repaired. The floor was damaged and the baseboards were swelling. The bed sheets were clean and the A/C worked

The elevators took HOURS to get there especially coming down from parking lot 3. Also going up and down in general took forever. Cleaners would take one elevator for themselves and this slowed down the process.

Parking garage is a definite challenge but the security guard was a big help.
